Braces(Fixed Dental Braces)

Why it's done
Dental braces offer corrective treatment for your enhanced smile:

  • Overcrowded or crooked teeth
  • To reduce the excessive gap between the teeth.
  • Upper front teeth that overlap the lower teeth too much, either vertically or horizontally
  • Upper front teeth that bite behind the lower ones (underbite)
  • Problem of jaw misalignment that cause an uneven bite

Proper alignment of your teeth and jaws improves not only your appearance but also the health of your mouth and the way you bite, chew and speak.
Fixed braces are made of metal brackets, which are fixed to each tooth and linked together with wires. There are a variety of different types of fixed brace available, such as traditional metal braces that can be fixed onto the front of your teeth (labial braces), ceramic braces that have a white appearance instead of metal, and lingual braces that are fixed onto the back of your teeth.

Which fixed braces are right for me?

A key benefit of fixed braces is that, as you can’t take them off throughout your treatment, you won’t risk forgetting to put them back in and delaying your progress. Fixed type braces comes in type:
Ceramic tooth-coloured braces can be a popular choice for patients concerned about the appearance of labial braces, as the colour of the brackets blend in with your smile.
Also Lingual Braces are a great option for those who like the idea of almost invisible braces but need more complex treatment than simple aligning. These are bonded onto the back of your teeth, so almost not visible to others. Some patients are happy to embrace traditional metal braces, particularly those who don’t have a high smile line.
